Letter of Authorization for NBG
The “Internet+” Students Innovation and Entrepreneurship contest was held twice in 2015 and 2016 where a total of 0.7 million students participated and 150,000 projects were submitted for selection. The 2017’s competition is even bigger with 1.4 million students participating and 370,000 projects submitted so far. Many winning teams received investment funding from a large pool of top investors in China and their businesses have grown since the competition. Now, this exciting competition, for the first time in its 3 year history, offers the “international channel” which now opens the door for any UK-based students (not earlier than 2012) to submit their entries.
Dr Kai Liu – Chief Executive Officer of New Beacon Group remarks:
“New Beacon Group is absolutely thrilled to be the strategic partner of this great competition, we are honoured to be authorised by Ministry of Education in China to select the teams for the final. Since we took over the Beaconside campus, we are aiming to build an innovation hub which connects the UK and China. We are working closely with our University Partners and engage closely with the Chinese students’ community in the UK. This competition will serve as a catalyst to bring all those things together. This is unmissable opportunities for the students in the UK. My colleagues and I will work very hard to take the best entrepreneurial talent in the UK to China.”
The deadline for submission is rather tight, it will be closed at 23:59 on 23rd August 2017. For detailed information and application forms, please click the following link:
