New Beacon Group and China Medical City sign strategic MoU and launch CMC UK Incubator
On July 20th, New Beacon Group welcomed delegates from China Medical City (CMC) and Beyond Laboratory to their Beaconside Campus, located in Stafford, the county town of Staffordshire, England.
Dr. Kai Liu, Chief Executive Officer of New Beacon Group, Mr. Li Wang Ge, Director of Talent Working Group Taizhou Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone, and Dr. Lu Zhou, the founder of Beyond Laboratory, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to acknowledge the beginning of their strategic partnership. CMC’s first overseas incubator was also launched at Beaconside Campus and will serve as a launch pad to promote and support both British and Chinese start-ups in health-related fields.
Mr Shunhua Yu – Associate Minister for the Organization Department of Taizhou Municipal Committee, Dr. Clare O’Neill – Directorate of Engagement & Partnerships for the School of Medicine at Keele University, Ms. Ann Ewens – Dean of School of Health and Social Care for Staffordshire University, and New Beacon Group staff attended and witnessed the signing ceremony.
The Taizhou Medical New and High-Tech Industrial Zone (also known as “China Medical City”) is located in Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, the Yangtze River triangle area. It covers approximately 30 square kilometres, and consists of Research & Development, Manufacturing, Exhibition and Trade, Health Care Services, Education and Commercial, and Multi-functional areas.
China Medical City adheres to scientific principles and aims for “China first, World famous” positioning. In order to provide the best environment to promote the construction and development of high end talent, CMC works towards a high standard within in its initial planning stages and through strategic partnership.
